Paraguay bike and riding PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 19 May 2009 10:16
Driving conditions:

Roads from Asuncion to the south-east of the country are paved and in good condition. Apparently things can get ugly in the north of the country during rainy season.

Recommended roads:

Paraguay is a very flat country hence if you are a big fan of twisty roads and mountain passes you might be disappointed by the riding to be had here. But the friendliness of the people more than make up for it.

Police and military:

We only encountered 2 police officers in Paraguay. They stopped us not to give us a ticket but rather to take a closer look at the motorcycle.

Services:

The are no BMW shops in Paraguay

Border:

Border crossing: Asuncion
Cost for bike: Free
Cost for us: 45$ per person for visa
Time it took: About 45 minutes
