Our time in Honduras was very brief so we don’t have much useful info on driving in this country.

Border:

Border crossing: El Poy and El Amatillo
Cost for bike: About 45$
Cost for us: Free to enter but you must pay 3$ to exit El Salvador
Time it took: 2 to 4 hours
Comments: Be patient. For the El Poy crossing it is straightforward but long. If you are crossing by El Amatillo it is possible to avoid the annoying “helpers”. They charge you between 5-45$ for something you would be able to do alone. Your choice!
